Hot Summer Days
Boy, we were all feeling quite cranky around here today! The heat wave that is affecting most of the country has definitely hit home at our house. The temperature outside reached 91 degrees.
Without the modern conveniences of central air we have to make do. Needless to say, all of us were a bit too warm for comfort today. We could have used a dip in a cool swimming pool - it was definitely the sort of day for water activities!
I feel a great deal of empathy for Chris, who has to work in this heat. The temperatures often reach 120 degrees inside on a normal summer night because the high-temp equipment where he works. With this heat wave it’s got to be hard.
Unfortunately, it’s suppose to be even hotter tomorrow and the hot temperatures are suppose to sustain throughout the week. How’s the weather where you live?

89 today and HUMID! We’re on the east coast of Florida and (luckily) near enough to the ocean to get the benefit of a sea breeze. Amazing what a bit of air movement will do.

Hot, humid and thundershowers every other day. UGH.
